I'm a restaurateur & nightclub owner in Jersey. I have had a fascination with GT40s for over 40 years, my father in law having an original. I marvelled at the car  in 1977 and was overstruck by its elegant low slung lines and its menacing presence. From that day I wanted one but could never afford  the lofty price tag.
